My entry into the spiritual arena began when I was a child in Jersey City, NJ. My parents were immigrants from Slovakia and devoutly Catholic. I was drawn to the teachings about love and to the rituals and mysticism of Catholicism, but, by the age of 16, I became disillusioned with it. Although, I did not have these words for my experience at that time, I found my spiritual teachers unable to help me access the profound freedom of direct connection to myself and other. Eventually, I began to explore nature-based indigenous spiritualities which led me to a path of self-inquiry. It was on this path that I learned to open to authenticity and love. I view self-inquiry and spirituality as inseparable and the foundation of my work.

I have an M.A. from the University of Creation Spirituality, Oakland, CA
I am certified in Conscious Relationships and Breath and Body Centered Transformation work through the Hendricks Institute, Santa Barbara, CA and am an ongoing participant of the International Retreat Group facilitated by Sandra Maitri.
